English Tea Party
We had visitors staying from Ireland at my house this week. On their last day my mum threw an English Tea Party and invited afew more friends over for them. I played classical music, courtesy of my iTunes (abit annoyed that Spotify stopped doing their 99p Day-Pass.) We had Sandwiches- Homemade scones with cream and strawberry preserve- And ofcourse tea and cupcakes- The cupcakes were delicious, a bit filling though. There were about 12 of us, including a few children. We sat in the garden with a drink afterwards. The weather was brilliant, i think we're definitely going to host a few more. Im going to have a posh tea-cup set when I get my own place.

The Railway Children
Went to the theatre last night with a few family friends to see the latest production of The Railway Children. It wasnt exactly in a theatre but in an actual train station. They had converted the former Eurostar platforms at Waterloo station into a stage. The audience were sat either side of the actual tracks with parts of the stage moving whilst the actors were doing their scenes. Ive never seen any production like that before. Its a great thing to see especially if you've watched the film, good to see a well-known film transformed into a stage production. At on point they brought a real steam onto the tracks.

Jay-Z ends the Wireless Weekend
Went to wireless again on Sunday with my friend Steph. It was the last day and the line-up was Lily Allen, Tinie Tempah, Mr. Hudson, Slash, Chase & Status (and others), ending it with a bang was the legendary Jay-Z. It was immense how many people went. And with over 50,000 people I randomly bump into one of my coursemates. At one point he said 'lets turn this night into Carnival'. The Jigga man played all of his latests and classic tracks. Alicia Keys came out and surprised the audience with Empire of the State. And Mr. Hudson joined him for Forever Young. But he did the track I was waiting for last...Encore, I love that song. Wireless was mad, but im definitely going to go next year.

Wireless festival
Yesterday I went to the Wireless festival in Hyde Park. It was amazing. I saw The Gossip, Ting Tings and Pink. Pink was on last and her performance was the best. She dropped out of a toy box (that was suspended by a crane over the audience)! Then Zorbed over the crowd..and right over my head. It was wicked. She said 'now i know how a hamster feels'. I took my friend Jem as its her birthday soon, she loves Pink, so i was buzzing as it was the first time she saw her live. Wicked day. I actually felt like i was at a festival......i now want to go camping : (
